We use Undercover Tourist to buy all our theme park tickets. At a savings of $6 per ticket, it adds up quickly when the whole family is going. I will admit that the site can be daunting and the process a little confusing. So, I thought I would scale it all down to just six steps to make it less challenging.
STEP ONE: Decide on a park or event.
You can certainly browse the site to see what specials they are offering at the time. But, if you know where you want to go, use the search box at the top of the page to type in the name (ex. Hollywood Studios Tickets)
In the search results, click the orange hyperlink that reads "Get My Tickets".
STEP TWO: Select your tickets
This is a long page with a lot of information. Scroll down until you see the calendars. Click the day on which you want to visit the park and make sure it is available. Then select your Base Tickets from the list below the calendar. Once you have all the tickets selected, click the orange box on the right - "Add Tickets to Cart".
STEP THREE: Review your purchase
Take a quick look to be sure your dates and quantities are correct. Then, click the orange box "Continue to Cart".
STEP FOUR: Grab extra Discounts!!
At the top of this page you will see discounts that are only offered as a bundle with your ticket purchase. I highly recommend taking a look at the rental car offer, which is typically 50% less that any going rate you will find. For a weekly rental, that translates to an average savings around $200.
STEP FIVE: Choose your delivery type
Don't overlook the "mailed to your door" option, which allows for ticket refunds. Tickets arrive promptly in a secured envelope and you have multiple shipping speeds to choose from.
Within 24 hours of your purchase, you will receive an emailed copy of all ticket details that allows you to move forward with your park reservations.
STEP SIX: Complete your purchase
If you have any issues with the purchase up to this point or even after you complete your purchase, reach out to their customer support team. I've used both the Chat Window and the 800 number and have received excellent assistance both times.
